Travellers on Brooklands – update

Update. The Council has served Notice to Leave on the travellers by the Brooklands Pavilion but now – by law – we have to wait to see whether they do or not, before we can move to the next stage of the procedure. However the Police (who have also visited the site) have powers that the Council doesn’t. They can intervene where they have evidence of anti-social behaviour or criminal damage. This can be reported online or through 101.
