He is a university lecturer and also runs a college helping less fortunate people gain qualifications. SAM CROOKS came to Milton Keynes to work at the Open University. He has been a councillor in this area for over 20 years and twice been Leader of the Council. He was Mayor of Milton Keynes 2019 - 20. He is also a magistrate and a former trustee of the Bletchley Park & the Parks Trust. He was the first chair of the city's Community Relations Council.
Crest Nicholson have just confirmed to us that they are in discussions with a contractor to look after grass cutting on the whole of the Oakgrove estate(excluding the flats looked after by Broadoak & Clarion, the Waitrose concourse which is owned by a pension fund and the Habitat corridor)not just for a one-off cut but also regularly throughout the year. They expect to finalise all this next Monday and - hopefully - the contractor will be able to start on site soon after that.
