    I'm afraid that SERCO weren't able to complete their food and garden waste (green bin) collections in Broughton, Brooklands & Middleton yesterday due to local LGV shortages and an Increase in COVID cases. They offer their apologies and ask that those residents affected leave their bins out again today.

    We heard from the Council yesterday that they expect work on re-modelling the cycle track to start early in the new year. Crest have agreed payment terms and the project has been put out to tender.

    Thank you to everyone who completed the resident poll on our website about whether the present booking system for the Council's household waste recycling centres (tips to you and me) should continue.
    One point that many of you made was that the system would be much more flexible if you could make a booking for the same day.

    Due to driver availability and a vehicle breakdown Serco weren't able to complete their food and garden waste collections yesterday (Tuesday 12 October). They apologise, and ask that bins are left out again today (Wednesday) when they will definitely be collected.

    Beaufort Drive in Willen will be closed between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Tuesday 12 October to allow an inspection of the bridge carrying the V10 Brickhill Street over the road into Willen Park. The Council will do its best to maintain resident access during the closure.
