Crest Nicholson have just confirmed to us that they are in discussions with a contractor to look after grass cutting on the whole of the Oakgrove estate(excluding the flats looked after by Broadoak & Clarion, the Waitrose concourse which is owned by a pension fund and the Habitat corridor)not just for a one-off cut but also regularly throughout the year. They expect to finalise all this next Monday and - hopefully - the contractor will be able to start on site soon after that.
Warm thanks to the six residents who helped on Saturday's litter pick. We did the concourse, Ada Walk and Atlas Way up to the play area at the top of Harvard Way next to Berry Grove.
And particular thanks to Rob who suggested we should ask Costa for complimentary coffees at the end of each monthly session. We did, and they've agreed. Thank you Costa!
