    We've just heard from the Council that the first people with the COVID-19 Omicron variant have been confirmed in Milton Keynes. All four cases were linked to travel. Several more suspected cases are currently being investigated.
    The number of people testing positive for COVID-19 in Milton Keynes has risen rapidly in the last couple of weeks. We are now seeing more than 300 cases per day (equivalent to over 700 cases per 100,000 per week). Almost all of these cases are still the Delta variant.

    Following its public consultation earlier this year the Council has decided not to proceed with its proposal for double yellow lines at a very precise location on Tyhurst. However it will keep the parking situation in Tyhurst as a whole under review.

    Advance notice that Broughton Grounds Lane (30 metres north east of its junction with Neptune Crescent) will be closed overnight from 8 pm on Thursday 16th December to 6 am on Friday 17th. This is to allow the installation of a telecoms mast.
